Earlier this week, SA Real Estate News announced the participants of the new 12 month series ‘The Recruits’ taking place across 2017.
Now it is time to get to know them a little bit more with a short bio from each participant before their journey commences.
Brandon Pilgrim – Ray White Adelaide
Brandon Pilgrim is an excellent agent with an immense amount of experience and knowledge in the real estate industry. Previously working closely alongside Ray White Adelaide principle Brett Pilgrim, Brandon has stepped out into selling with a great amount of understanding of the field which shows in his outstanding customer service to both homeowners and buyers.
Originally from the small town of Bordertown, Brandon brings his relentlessly hard working attitude and country charm to the city’s Eastern Suburbs. Valuing and dedicating to his clients, Brandon actively seeks to connect with each individual to ensure their needs are met, whatever they may be.
Brandon has fantastic support behind him with family, friends and of course Ray White Adelaide, helping to achieve his high set goals on a regular basis. The honesty and desire shines through in Brandon’s commitment to achieving the best possible results for his clients, having been a very competitive sportsperson in both team and individual sports Brandon will always be fighting for the greatest outcome possible.
Those looking to buy or sell property in Burnside and Hazelwood Park will benefit from Brandon’s vast knowledge of the area and can expect excellent service and advice. His refreshing, sincere nature ensures a great experience.
Brooke Smith – Century 21 Property People
I have worked in the property industry at the same company for over six years since the age of 16 in various administrative support roles.
My current and newly appointed role as a Sales Consultant sees me focusing on residential ‘off the plan’ and titled land developments, with the opportunity to list residential homes should I wish.I understand the demands of the industry, and how important it is to communicate, deliver on time, but above all work with integrity.
Not only do I have an exceptional work ethic, evident through my years of working numerous jobs at any one time and my commitment to tertiary studies, but I am also empathetic which is key to interacting and relating to clients to ensure they feel valued as a person, rather than just being another sale. I approach each transaction with an attitude of understanding and with an aim to do everything in my power to help my clients achieve the outcome they desire.
I am driven and set extremely high standards for myself which means that I am able to achieve anything I set my mind to.
I feel that it is an absolute honour to be trusted to sell a client’s property, and even more so to be able to help clients take a step towards building their first home, their forever home or an investment, and be a part of the largest financial decision most people make in their lives.
For the reasons listed above, this is why I have what it takes to make it in real estate in 2017.
Samuel Patton – Ray White Brighton
Succeeding in real estate is simple, but not easy. There isn’t anything complicated about becoming a good agent, all it takes is to be honest, trustworthy, present well and work damn hard!
From the start of my young career in real estate I have said there are three things you can do better than any experienced real estate agent:
- Present well
- Be honest
- Hustle harder than anyone else
These are the three things I have focused on so far and it seems to be paying off. I simply get to work as early as I can, complete any “non-dollar productive” tasks before 9am and then talk to as many people as possible between 9am and 6pm. I believe there is a direct correlation between how many people you talk to and how many properties you will list – simple!
In a fairly quiet market (a seller’s market), where there isn’t a huge amount of stock available, I believe I have the self-motivation, determination, likeable personality and hustle that it takes to make in this industry.
