Why is your suburb so attractive for those looking to buy in the area?
Para Hills is a great suburb! Being only 20 minutes from the city you can have the best of both worlds. Like living in a quiet and beautiful suburb, while still having the convenience of shopping centres (Tea Tree Plaza is in close proximity), plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from, great public transport (especially with the convenience of the O-Bahn), beautiful parks full of wildlife and stunning views that are pet friendly, and the great schools that are offered in the area.
The Para Hills Community Club is a popular local spot that has a diverse menu, great staff and a family friendly atmosphere. Another family friendly place to dine is Chillo’s Family Restaurant, a local family run business.
The Somerset Hotel is the local pub, and is a great place to go for an drink and a good meal. They have a great outdoor area, The Garden Bar, that has it’s own menu and features a full outdoor bar.
Some of the other best places around Para Hills are: Para Hills Pizza Express, Monsoon Indian Restaurant, Harpers Place, St Louis House of Fine Ice Cream & Dessert, Pho Para Hills.
What’s the best entertainment around?
The Somerset Hotel is a great place to go for a drink and with friends. They have three large plasma screens in their beer garden, so its a perfect place to watch a footy game. They also have other activities available, like their weekly trivia night every Monday.
The Para Hills Community Club also have a bunch of things to do, like bingo, 8 ball knockout and poker competitions. On the weekends, they are the place to be for live music!
Hoytts Cinema at Tea Tree Plaza is the best cinema in the area, and they have affordable ticket prices at half the price of other theatres.
The Paddocks Wetlands and Dog Park is just one of the many natural and beautiful parks in the suburb. And of course, the dog park will be your dog’s favourite place to go, with an obstacle course available for play. It’s also a perfect place to enjoy a picnic, or to go for a walk or run. The kids will have a great time too, spotting all of the wildlife that live in the park.
For the kids, in neighbouring suburbs is the Adelaide Planetarium, Goldenfields Reserve, and the Waterworld Aquatic Centre.

Para Hills has a lot to offer and it’s a great feeling being able to help my clients find their perfect property, in this suburb that means so much to me. I grew up in Para Hills, so it’s a great feeling working here.
