CoreLogic has released its latest Cordell Construction Monthly report, highlighting some of the major projects commencing or already underway across Australia in November.

According to CoreLogic there has been a small increase in the number of development applications captured in October (+3.4%).

The largest increase in the number of new projects in November was in the community space reflecting the increased participation of state governments, CoreLogic noted.

Builders have been invited to register for the design and construction of the new $528 million Adelaide Women’s hospital due for completion by late 2024. The facility will accompany the new Royal Adelaide Hospital. A new site is also being scouted for a Children’s hospital.

The SA Government-funded Building Better Schools Program, has awarded Norwoord Morialta High School $30 million. To date, this program has given funding to 90 schools, totalling $690 million. The upgrades to Morialta High School are in the early stages of planning.
