If you are looking for Adelaide’s blue-chip suburbs these should be at the top your list.
Recent data from CoreLogic has revealed the suburbs that have recorded an annual median house price of more than $1 million since 2007.
Only two suburbs managed to stay above the $1 million mark over the eleven-year period: Springfield and Unley Park.
The next five suburbs managed the feat for 10 of the 11 years. They were College Park, Malvern, Medindie, Rose Park and Toorak Gardens.
Tennyson stayed above $1 million for seven years and Fitzroy, Tusmore and Thorngate managed six years.
Looking at council regions, Unley and Burnside dominated with two suburbs a piece.
“The number of $1 million suburbs will only increase in the coming years because $1 million is now a more achievable price tag, and $2 million now is probably the $1 million of a decade ago,” said Ouwens Casserly Real Estate agent Cynthia Sajkunovic.
