Adelaide bounced back from a disappointing weekend last week to close out April with a 73% clearance rate.
Last weekend saw a clearance rate of just 47% with 15 of 32 properties up for auction by members of the Society of Auctioneers and Appraisers selling.
This weekend was back above average, with 22 out of 30 properties selling at auction.
Anthony DeMarco headlined this weekend’s auctions as he brought down the gavel at $1.46 million for a beautiful 5 bedroom home in Beaumont, the largest sale for the weekend.
Alexi Broikos of Refined Real Estate was the selling agent of the stunning Eastern Suburbs villa.
Brett Roenfeldt had the second largest sale for the weekend, with a 3 bedroom home in West Beach going for just under a million at $982,500.
Roenfeldt also auctioned off two other properties and one sell prior to going to auction.
Independent auctioneer AJ Colman had the largest sale on Sunday with a 3 bedroom home in Glynde selling for $620,000.
Colman also had two sales on Saturday, and another two selling prior to going to auction.
Elsewhere, John Morris had three sales for the weekend for a 100% clearance rate while Jonathon Moore had two.
Mark Fricker and David Smallacombe had one sale each, with Fricker having a property sell prior and one withdrawn before reaching auction.
Rachel Lawrie, Peter Fried, Tim Thredgold and Michael Cavuoto all had properties held over at auction with the sales being finalized privately.
36 auctions are scheduled to take place over this upcoming weekend.
