It was a bumper weekend for auctions in Adelaide with 22 properties selling for an average price of $679,045.
With a clearance rate of 76%, only 7 properties out of 29 were held over
Two properties sold for six figures sums over the weekend, and both belonged to the same to the same auctioneer and agency.
Nathan Casserly of Ouwens Casserly Real Estate oversaw the sale of the two homes in two of Adelaide’s most desirable sea-side suburbs.
A six bedroom bungalow in Glenelg South netted a cool $1.5 million at auction for the highest sale price for the weekend.
Not too far away in Henley Beach, a villa built circa 1900 sold for $1.2 million, narrowly missing out on top spot.
Casserly had another property in Eastwood sell for $605,000 as he maintained a 100% clearance rate for the weekend.
Independent auctioneer AJ Colman also maintained a 100% clearance rate with 4 properties selling.
Elsewhere, veteran Brett Roenfeldt had 5 sales over the weekend with one property held over at auction.
Currently, 30 auctions are in the books to take place this coming weekend.
