June kicked off with a bang last week as 6 properties sold for over a million dollars at auction in Adelaide.
The highest sale price of the sextet, and of the week, went to 210 Esplanade in Aldinga Beach which sold for a staggering $1.45 million.
Selling agent Holly Freeland of Harcourts Wine Coast had the distinct pleasure of handing over the keys of the property to its new owners after it sold at auction on Saturday.
Not far behind in second place was 134 Ashbrook Avenue, a beautiful 5-bedroom, 2 storey period home just outside the CBD in Trinity Gardens.
Nick Wang and Vanessa Wang of Majesty Real Estate were the agents handling the sale of the property, which fetched $1.31 million at auction on Sunday – the largest sale for that day.
2 Salisbury Terrace in Collinswood came in third place after it sold for $1,217,500 at auction on Saturday.
Laurie Berlingeri and Fil Farruggia of Ray White West Torrens oversaw the sale of the beautiful 5 bedroom villa in one of the city’s most desirable regions.
West of the CBD in Dulwich, 17 Ascot Avenue sold for a cool $1.14 million as the fourth largest sale price of the week.
According to data from CoreLogic, the property was last on the market in 2003 where it sold $416,000 – a clear rise in value over the last 14 years.
Angela and Michael Stentiford of the boutique agency Ouwens Casserly Real Estate were the selling agents for the property.
Only $1000 dollars separated 5th and 6th places as a 4 bedroom home in Goodwood just edged out another 4 bedroom home in Rosslyn Park.
26 Hardy Street in Goodwood had belonged to its previous occupants since 1956, but they will be more than happy with the work of selling agent Steve Alexander of Klemich Real Estate who managed to net them $1.056 million.
Rounding out the sextet was 20A Primrose Terrace in Rosslyn Park which sold for $1.055 million.
Clarence Ling and Stephen Ong of Belle Property oversaw the sale of the 4 bedroom home.
A total of 80 auctions were held in total across the week beginning on the 29th of May, with 52 properties selling at auction or just prior for a 65% clearance rate.
That was an improvement over the week previous were 46 of 78 homes up for auction sold for a 59% clearance rate.
The million dollars sales from last week helped to beef up the average sale price to $667,333 – up from $589,009 the week before.
