Sale prices on Adelaide’s auction market fell back down to earth over the first weekend of November.
The average sale price fell to $588,205.88, but Adelaide’s clearance rate jumped up to 90% with only two properties being held over.
Last weekend two homes sold for over a million dollars at auction but this week only one property came close to reaching a seven-figure sum.
Auctioneer Peter Fried and, husband and wife duo, Mark and Marie Brus of Toop&Toop Real Estate’s sale of a four bedroom home in Parkside fetched $956,000 at auction – the highest sale price of the weekend.
Mark Fricker and Jonathon Moore each had four sales for the weekend, while AJ Colman, Phil McMahon and David Smallacombe all recorded two.
Adelaide’s auctioneers are set for a busy one again this upcoming weekend, with 36 auctions scheduled to take place.
