Ex-CEO of Harcourts & Harris Real Estate & President of REISA Greg Moulton is expected to give evidence in court in the the Toop&Toop vs Arabella Hooper case, in which it’s alleged up to 39 clients were taken from Toop&Toop as well as a database of 700 contacts.

Moulton was CEO of Harris Real Estate at the time Hooper left Toop&Toop and joined the Harris brand.

Moulton, now listed as a “Business Advisor” on the website for Connekt Urban Projects, was involved in the 2017 court case between Harcourts vs Alex Ouwens & Nathan Casserly when he was CEO of the Harcourts franchise in South Australia, and allegedly leaked confidential internal communications to Ouwens Casserly management regarding their departure from the Harcourts group.

It is alleged by Toop&Toop’s legal team that Moulton sent an email after Hooper joined his company, that he had no knowledge of any confidential client information owned by Toop&Toop being in the possession of Harris Real Estate.

In the 2017 Harcourts vs Ouwens & Casserly case, the judge initially awarded $239,787 to Harcourts, and remarked that Moulton had been “keeping the defendants well informed about Harcourts’ plans and intentions regarding the franchise”, including passing confidential emails to the defendants headed “for your eyes only.” (Case transcript available on Austlii)
