Jason O’Halloran of Ray White Morphett Vale has been announced as track commentator for the upcoming Adelaide Motor Festival.
Mr O’Halloran is no stranger to the commentary experience with over two decades on the mic calling motorsport action both in Australia and abroad, in the UK and the United States.
With names like EX-Ferrari driver Stefan Johansson, Minardi gun Pier Luigi Martini and F1 Arrows ace Ivan Capelli set to take to the grid on the 19th and 20th of November, Mr O’Halloran will be tasked with entertaining an expected 50,000+ crowd with special pit lane comments and guest interviews.
Mr O’Halloran said he was honoured to call the action at the old F1 track at Victoria Park.
“I have been doing events like this for a while now, and it is an honour to call the Formula 1 cars and superstars like Stefan, Pier and Ivan as they hit the track again,” he said.
“Adelaide has always been Australia’s motor city, and this event is huge for the state. ”
“Tourism is a big winner, but let’s not forget the excitement and adrenalin that everyone experiences when those Formula 1 cars are on full noise – it’s going to be an amazing experience that’s for sure.”
The event kicks off with the Classic Adelaide Rally on the Friday and continues with the Festival at the Victoria Park Racecourse site across the Saturday and Sunday.
Exotic one off vehicles like Ferrari’s, McLarens and Lamborghini’s will join race cars, motorcycles and a huge array of priceless display vehicles for what is shaping up to be one of the biggest automotive events in the Adelaide calendar.
