Why is Parafield Gardens so attractive for those looking to buy in the area?
Parafield Gardens is a very diverse suburb with a huge range of properties to choose from that will suit everyone’s needs. For example, I’ve sold classic 1930’s homes and also brand new perfect family homes (the standard 4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, 2 garages). The market in Parafield Gardens covers all buyer types; this includes families, up-sizers, downsizers, renters, and also investors who are looking for long term investment properties or even development opportunities.
Where to eat:
The Slug N Lettuce, and also The Community club, always put on a good Schnitzel or steak. As a sponsor and player of the Parafield Gardens Soccer club, I can’t go past a $10 meal on a Friday night after training.
There’s lots of local sports to watch on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, or you can have a hit of tennis at the courts next to the Slug and Lettuce. Or form a team and play basketball, netball or indoor soccer at the recreation centre. Parafield Gardens also has a lot great of parks to explore that are pet friendly, and will keep the kids entertained.
Tell us about the property market in Parafield Gardens
The market is currently the strongest I’ve seen it since 2015, as the medium sale price is currently sitting around $312,000, with the average days a property is on market for being just over a month. My personal average being around the 14 day mark.
Recently two properties have sold over $500,000 and this figure alone shows the market is growing at a steady rate and isn’t showing any signs of stopping. I am always happy to discuss the market in greater details with any buyers or sellers who want to give me a call.
Why do you love working in Parafield Gardens?
Parafield gardens is a suburb close to my heart having grown up in the area. I spent my younger years riding my bike all over the suburb and because of this I know all the streets like the back of my hand.
Nothing makes me more proud than being able to give back the community that has given me so much. Whether its sponsoring the local sporting clubs or just helping a first home buyer get into the market.
