Why is your suburb so attractive for those looking to buy in the area?
In the growing and evolving suburb of Pooraka, we here at Ray White are super enthusiastic and proud of the community atmosphere that each street has.
We love the variety of all the local businesses, along with the wide variety of schools, sports and recreation centres, and with the gorgeous parklands that families love.
A lot of the new homes in the area are expanding and growing. Modern and tastefully designed development’s are blossoming within the neighbourhood and they are improving the street appeal.

What are the best places around your suburb to eat?

You will never go hungry in Pooraka with abundance of cafe’s and local deli’s, like Waffle Delight, and Lifestyle Bakery. Being so close to Mawson Lakes, there’s hundreds of boutique cafes to choose from.
What’s the best entertainment around?

Families with young children are spoilt with choice in Pooraka, with the Wallis Cinema Mainline Drive-in just a stone throw away, showing all the latest kids, family, and new release films. The drive-in turns into the Gepps Cross markets on beautiful sunny Sundays.

Thunderbird Slot Racing is a great place to take the family. They are a great choice for kids birthday parties, and they also host racing competitions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights for all ages.

Tell us about the property market in your area
Pooraka is the jewel in the northern suburbs crown, with buyers clamouring to obtain every piece of land that comes up for sale.
We’re encouraging home owners to get updated appraisals on their property, as the market has moved significantly in recent years. Many homes that have been held by the same family for some time are achieving sales prices above and beyond their wildest expectations.
Why do you love working in your suburb?
The team at Ray White Pooraka love being a part of the community. We’ve spent a lot of time helping and assisting local charities and events, giving people opportunities to grow and succeed. We love how welcoming everybody is to new neighbours, and helping our friends start a new chapter in their life.
Transparency, passion & performance are 3 key attributes that have helped Ray White Pooraka stand out, to become recognised and successful.
With an added focus and endeavour to market and advertise our client’s most valuable asset in the best possible light, we’ve helped clients to maximise genuine enquiry, feedback and offers so that home owners can make clear decisions with the right information.
If you live in the area we’d love to meet you and talk about your home, and the wonderful suburb of Pooraka, showing you how we’ve helped others like you to create lasting memories and new beginnings.
