Previously a photographer in property management, Matthew Norris of Matthew Norris Visual Productions now creates stunning video presentations of homes hitting the market.
With drone photography becoming more popular, he has taken advantage of how they are changing the way we view real estate.
“Drones are a great way for agents to take the next step in technology, the internet and social media,” Matthew says.
“Photos can only do so much. Video and drone usage creates a point of difference between similar properties on the market, and what the agent can offer a vendor. Potential buyers also have a more realistic view of the property before attending an open inspection. Everyone benefits.”
Matthew’s service is professional and efficient with the entire process complete, and ready to view, within twelve hours.
“I meet with the agent first, go over the floor plan and discuss the property. Once on-site, I’m given a tour and start filming. The steady cam is used for internal and external footage, and drones for all the aerial work. “
The real estate agent composes all scripting, highlighting the property’s best features. An introduction and conclusion to the presentation are filmed on-site. Voice over material is also recorded. Final editing is completed off-site.
Drones are the perfect way to showcase rural properties, without being costly for the vendor. Potential buyers are able to accurately gauge acreage, composition, and surroundings, in addition to the home itself.
“Suburban homes can be marketed the same way, subject to council laws and regulations,” says Matthew.
Basic video productions start at $250.00, and from $500 including drone footage. All are designed to suit the individual property, and to maximise impact and interest.
