Ray White Symposium – Leadership, Marketing, Digital & Sales Go Under the Microscope

Coinciding with it’s 25th year of existence, SA’s largest real estate franchise group recently hosted over 200 of it’s agents at the Adelaide Oval, to come together in the largest franchise group training session in South Australia.

The event included a long list of high-profile industry names and experts within all facets of real estate, with their focus set firmly on sharing ideas, lessons and fine-tuning their skills. The group listened to key industry speakers from across the Ray White group including Dan White (Director & White family member), Jason Alford (National Technology Manager), Lisa Pennell & Kristen Buick (Marketing), Ashley Weston (Ray White Victorian Principal & AREC Presenter), Luke Richardson (Head of Profit) and Gemma Sheppeard (Property Management BDM from Sydney).

A leading agents panel also included Brett Pilgrim (Ray White Adelaide Group), Jason Spagnuolo (Ray White Norwood), Peter Kiritsis (Ray White Woodville) & Nick Psarros (Ray White Port Adelaide). The team spoke in depth about auctions, creating effective EBU’s, leadership, wellness and of course, listing and selling.

Ash Weston, who spoke at AREC 2017 presented for 2 hours about prospecting for listings as well as effective structure to ensure productivity and efficiency of an agent’s effective business unit (EBU’s) as well as an agencies office. Ash focused on customer service, communication, marketing, systemisation and utilising all of Ray White’s leading technology.

Dan White had a Q&A session with Matthew Lindblom, who asked the 4th generation White family member about challenges in the industry, national and state wide market share growth, technology and customer service.

Property managers also had a special focus session on the management side of real estate, with Gemma Sheppeard, property management BDM from a Ray White office in Sydney who have grown a rent roll to over 3,000 managements, speaking about her role, the team and how they have achieved such success.

Kristen Buick shared further developments in Brand Central and Jason Alford spoke about his learnings from the Inman Conference in New York as well as the next round of developments coming out of the Ray White One System, with cutting edge technology including AI coming from the White families significant investment in technology.
