South Australia’s largest property photography provider Fotovision Australia (member of The Fotobase Group), is set to partner with virtual property tour software developers Augment Space.

The Fotobase Group, Sales & Marketing Director Jason Gentle said in a statement to SA Real Estate News that early feedback from agents already using the technology was excellent.

“We’re already creating tours for a number of agents who are enjoying the benefit of being first movers with this progressive technology and using it as a point of difference in their market. Being so affordable, we expect to see take-up of virtual tours across the entire market very quickly.”

“This offering supports our goal of becoming a one-stop marketing shop, allowing us to provide state of the art marketing to SA agents, with the benefit of being a local South Australian service. Marketing is about engagement with the end purchaser and the Augment Space virtual tours, allows potential buyers to start feeling at home and imagining themselves living in the home.”

Augment Space Director Ben Clarence said that while a formal agreement was yet to be signed, having the backing of one of the largest photography suppliers in the state was a huge step forward for the fast-growing company.

“We have had a fantastic response from the industry that far exceeded our initial expectations, so having the backing of a locally based, market leading company that already has great relationships within the industry is another great achievement for us.”

Reviews by agents from across the industry on Facebook praised the technology for it’s ability to reach more potential purchasers with a highly engaging and cost effective solution.

Heads of industry even voiced their support, including Ray White CEO Matthew Lindblom & Raine & Horne CEO Michael McDonald.

“Raine & Horne prides itself on staying forward of the curve in terms of thinking about the future of real estate, and virtual tours of homes are undoubtedly the future of our industry.” Said Raine & Horne CEO McDonald in a statement to SA Real Estate News.

“We have committed to signing up every South Australian Raine & Horne Office onto the Augment Space service, with every sales listing featuring a virtual tour by the end of the year.”
