Meet the whole team here

The SA Real Estate News team has grown larger, with the addition of a new writer, and the return of a SA REN veteran.

Rubik Roy

PicRubik is a Master of Journalism graduate from the University of Queensland. He also has Law and Arts degrees from the Australian National University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Creative Writing from Flinders University.

Rubik works as a freelance journalist and has contributed articles to publications such as The Canberra Times newspaper. In the past he has worked as a volunteer radio presenter on community radio.

Scott Murphy

Born in Modbury in 1990, his journey into the wonderful world of journalism begun when he was 2 years old, uttering a barely comprehensible “mummy” to his audience, thus embarking on a storytelling life full of random, yet wonderful adventures.

His quest into, what is commonly called ‘self discovery’, brought him flying into the movie making world, studying film at TAFESA and dipping into the local projects. But a flat broke, ill-planned journey into the Canadian West unlocked his passion for journalism. Maybe it was the blistering cold, or the can soup diet, or maybe it was maybelline, but Scott shot back home and studied the art at university. This year marks his graduation.

Scott has worked in Radio, TV, Print, and Online, landing publishings in/on 101.5FM Radio Adelaide, C44 The Sports Show, The Messenger and InDaily.
Scott has an unhealthy obsession with country music, mixed with his own terrible singing voice.
