Top 3 Tips for attracting new business:

  1. Look after your current Sellers well and keep in communication with your past clients as word of mouth is the most powerful form of advertising and attracting the best new business.
  2. Have amazing open homes with great follow up to impress buyers and service them well so they see your skills, knowledge and professionalism in action. Often buyers may have a home to sell or may know of family or friends who are looking to sell and can refer you new business.
  3. Prospect around your signboard. Door knock and talk to the neighbours, invite them to the open home, give them feedback on the sale progress and keep them updated on the local real estate market so you become their agent of choice when they are looking to sell

How I spend my working week:

Monday – Following up and negotiating any offers over the weekend.  Doing call back for all the buyers over the weekend

Tuesday – Second round of buyer call backs for the people that were missed on the previous day

Wednesday – finalising Vendor reports to be emailed in the evening. Sales meeting to run through new listings run through the listings management for the whole office. Getting contracts signed

Thursday – Appraisals, servicing buyer enquiries, prospecting around Just Sold listings

Friday – Appraisals, servicing buyer enquiries, prospecting around new listings launched that week.
